Introducing Me
Greetings to all,
I shall introduce myself now, I am Lance Manly (alias) and I’m the grey man of Origami. This is my first blog and for those future critics I promise to try and contribute on a weekly basis. This week’s blog is all about me so that you can get to know me better, understand my POV and more importantly accept that my opinion counts to me and me alone, if you don’t like what I write that’s your business, but I’m not going anywhere.
Personal stuff: I live in a world of a grey. I don’t see things black and white and according to my bi-polar afflicted colleague it’s merely an excuse to create loopholes for my own personal pleasure. Ask politely and she may just tell you her “Loophole Theory.”
I am an old man of 35 years. Canadian in origin, (the only one of the bunch) I’m the voice best ignored in the U.S..
I don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t do drugs.
I am a heterosexual, dating a lovely woman with poor taste.
I’m a libertarian, which means I see that both sides of the Yank coin is bulls**t.
I detest the Republicans and loathe the Liberals. I like America, respect the people, but your goverment makes me laugh.
As a member of the international community, the Imperialistic nature of the current administration pisses me off. I don’t like George Bush, never have, never will. I don’t respect him, I think he’s a moron and I KNOW he’s underqualified for the job. Bush is a tool of the oil interests and other big businesses dedicated to making the rich richer and the poor mowing their lawns.
That said, I have less respect for the liberal point of view since it seems to be; Attack the Republicans for being rich, organizing fund raisers for the poor, see that other people donate and they keep their own coffers overflowing.
I have other interests, hobbies and viewpoints that cover a vast number of subjects. But those I shall leave for another time. I guess I will quit while I’m ahead.
