David & Victoria Beckham: Do we care?
David Beckham, England’s star soccer player formerly of Real Madrid has come to L.A. to play for Galaxy. He’s making over $6 million per year in a club where most players get less than $18,000. His wife, Spice girl Victoria Beckham, is starting her new show, “Victoria Beckham: Living off her husband’s fame in America where practically no one gives a crap about her” soon. Why she even has to have a reality show, I don’t know. Lots of people relocate and don’t get special TV shows to chronicle every movement. Do we even care about Victoria? The Spice Girls have been done and over for a decade, did they need to be resurrected? I suppose maybe because they are living in trailers and in need of money. If they had not squandered the money they earned, WE wouldn’t have their ugly mugs in our faces yet again.
One report has Victoria screening new personal assistants to make sure they aren’t thinner or “prettier” than she is:
“In footage taken from her upcoming reality show charting the family’s move to Los Angeles, Victoria demands of her successful candidate Rene, ‘Do you find (my husband) attractive?’
She adds, ‘I am looking for someone professional. She can’t be too good looking, she can’t be too thin. It has to be all about me.’”
Victoria and David really need to hop a plane back to Jolly Olde England and keep kicking a ball around and doing whatever it is she does over there. Sure, he’s nice eye candy, but she is a bobble headed door body who spends too much money and thinks herself the American Queen. She really hasn’t got a clue. There’s nothing more ugly than an aging woman with too much makeup trying to pretend she’s still a teenager — or that other people are somehow obligated to care about her everyday activities.
