Why Do People Care About Kathy Griffin?
Who IS this person and why is she famous? No, I’m not talking about Paris Hilton, I’m talking about the talking horse that is Kathy Griffin. She is vulgar, obnoxious, fugly, and so desperate to be on TV that it’s downright pathetic. Someone needs to put her out to pasture as she has nothing to offer anyone. She probably has some fans but I think those people have to be missing the ability to reason in any capacity because I can’t imagine Kathy Griffin being anyone’s first line choice of “entertainment.”
She is apparently the guest on Larry King tonight and the subject is “Why are people obsessed with celebrities?” The question should be, “Why is Kathy Griffin obsessed with trying to be a celebrity?” What does she know about being a celeb anyway?
Her brand of “humor” is hate speech. She’s allowed to spread this hate because…well, who knows? Because lots of people are bitter and like to see sacred things and people attacked? Because many people don’t understand the concept of humor at all and think that people spouting the first nasty thing that pops into their vapid heads qualifies? How quick would these people be to say “lighten up” if the attack were on something they held dear? I’ve had it with idiots who think people like Kathy are funny in any way. That’s like saying what happened to Matthew Shephard was a laugh riot. People who find her funny need their heads examined. It’s not us with the problem, it’s you.
People like Kathy Griffin make a name for themselves as disgusting and offensive because they lack the talent to actually bring something substantial and intelligent to the stage.
